The Board of Directors of Albany Golden K Kiwanis Club met on Wednesday January 6, 2010 at Westview Baptist Church at 9:00 A.M. The meeting was called to order by President Mueller.
Officers in attendance were President Mueller, Vice President Kennedy, President-Elect Williams, Past President Goldsmith, Secretary Coburn, and Treasurer Rabun.
Directors present were Dale Don, Linda Goldsmith, Wendall Prince, Tom King and Bill Teele. Editor Don Williams was also present.
Minutes of the last meeting were read by the Secretary and approved by the Board, after a motion by Kennedy, and second by Prince.
Treasurer Rabun presented his report, and upon motion by King, and second by Teele, the Board approved.
The Board heard from Chairman Hubert Williams who presented the list of recommendations from the Contributions Committee, which included Ellison Rabun and Wendall Prince. After his review the Board voted to make certain changes in the list of organizations to which we contribute. It was agreed the new list would be posted on the Bulletin Board.
The Committee to sell the Mausoleum was instructed to advertise in the Herald for one week or to try to find any other offer and accept the best offer and sell at least by March. We have received one offer already.
